FAQs on Commercial Font Usage

Font design is a complex creative process protected by intellectual property laws. To facilitate better design, Mockitt has partnered with FounderType to provide a rich variety of fonts.

Users can use these fonts for free within Mockitt during the prototyping and design phase to achieve better visual fidelity.

However, if you intend to use these fonts for commercial purposes, you must contact the font vendor directly to purchase a license. Failure to do so constitutes copyright infringement.

Commercial purposes include, but are not limited to:

• Commercial Publishing: Using the font as a visual design element for direct or indirect profit, including reproduction, distribution, exhibition, screening, online dissemination, broadcasting, etc.
• Embedding: Integrating the font file (in whole or in part, directly or converted) into websites, mobile Apps, computer programs, or electronic products with visual displays.
• Other Commercial Acts: Any other usage intended for commercial gain.

Legal Liability: If a Mockitt user utilizes FounderType fonts (or other licensed fonts) beyond the scope of the prototyping authorization or infringes upon the intellectual property rights of the font vendor, the user shall bear all corresponding legal consequences.
